Dear Elder Mikesell:

You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Philippines Baguio Mission. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 24 months.

You should report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Tagalog language.

ALEC'S MISSION CALL FINALLY ARRIVED!

Alec had planned on submitting his mission papers back in April. However, through a series of unfortunate events related to wisdom teeth surgery scheduling and insurance pre-authorization errors, he didn't get his wisdom teeth out until August 15th. Alec was expecting his mission call to come Thursday, September 12, 2013, but 'twas not so...

His call finally came in the mail yesterday! A large white envelope from the Office of the First Presidency, and it happens to be addressed to Elder Alec Dean Oblad Mikesell!!!

He wants to wait to open it with family and friends, so here it sits... Stop by the house at 5pm Sunday the 15th, and watch him open it!
